Our next book was The Red Carpet by Rex Parkin. We didn't do as many activities with this book, though we did add a week to it studying policemen. We
- built a small city with blocks and rolled out a red ribbon down our roads
- made pretzels
- painted with red paint
- made a yarn design with red yarn
- gave daddy the "red carpet treatment" when he came home from work
- completed a policeman unit
